ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର: କେନ୍ଦ୍ରମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପୀୟୁଷ ଗୋୟଲଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଛନ୍ତି ବିଜେପି ସଂସଦୀୟ ଦଳ । ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଓ ସାଧାରଣ ବଣ୍ଟନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ପୀୟୁଷ ଗୋୟଲଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଛନ୍ତି । କେନ୍ଦ୍ରମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଧର୍ମେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନ ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ ଭେଟିଲା ଟିମ ବିଜେପି । ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଧାନ ସଂଗ୍ରହ ପ୍ରସଙ୍ଗରେ ହସ୍ତକ୍ଷେପ ଦାବି କରି ଭେଟିଲେ । କେନ୍ଦ୍ରମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଭେଟିବା ପରେ ଟ୍ୱିଟ ଯୋଗେ ଧର୍ମେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପ୍ରଧାନ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ଧାନ ସଂଗ୍ରହ ନେଇ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କୁ ବିଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରୁଛନ୍ତି ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର । ଏମଏସପି ଦରରେ ତୁରନ୍ତ ଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ଧାନ ସଂଗ୍ରହ ପାଇଁ ଦାବି ଜଣାଇଥିଲେ । ଭଲ ଅମଳ ସତ୍ତ୍ୱେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଅପାରଗତାରୁ ଚାଷୀ ହନ୍ତସନ୍ତ । ଧାନ ସଂଗ୍ରହ ସୀମା ସଂଶୋଧନ କରୁନାହାନ୍ତି ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର । ଫଳରେ ଏମଏସପିର ଅଧା ଦରରେ ଧାନ ବିକୁଛନ୍ତି ହଜାର ହଜାର ଚାଷୀ । ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଅନୈତିକ କ୍ଷମତା ଦୂରୁପଯୋଗ ରୋକାଯାଉ । ଧାନ କିଣା ନେଇ ଥିବା ଆନୁଷଙ୍ଗିକ ସମସ୍ୟା ତଥା ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଧାନ କିଣା ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟାକୁ ଶୃଙ୍ଖଳିତ ଭାବରେ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମଧ୍ୟସ୍ଥିଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତି ନେଇ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ୟା, ଏମଏସପି ମୂଲ୍ୟ ଆଧାରରେ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛ ଏବଂ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଧାନ କ୍ରୟ କରିବା ଦିଗରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମେ ସହଯୋଗ ଲୋଡିଥିବା ସେ କହିଛନ୍ତି ।

2. The delegation also sought support in resolving several issues related to paddy procurement in Odisha, including streamlining the entire process to ensure smooth, transparent and quick procurement of paddy at MSP for the benefit of paddy farmers in Odisha.

4. Despite this years’ better-than-expected harvest of paddy due to a favourable monsoon, farmers in Odisha are suffering due to State Govt. apathies, administrative inefficiencies and long-standing malpractices.

5. State Govt. of Odisha did not revise its ceiling of paddy procurement of 19 quintals for every acre of irrigated land and 13 quintals for every acre of non-irrigated land inspite of the bumper crop yield this season.

6. As a result thousands of farmers were left with unsold paddy which they had to sell at half the price of MSP fixed by the Centre, i.e ₹1868 per quintal. Farmers are also being forced to sell their harvest at throwaway price due to administrative failures of the Odisha Govt.
